Snow in Houston, Texas is a big deal. In fact, most of us stayed up into the wee hours just to watch it come down!

I watched from my back door as the snow day started off with a light rain. As the day wore on it began to sleet. Shortly before night fall, here in Nassau Bay, Houston, Texas, it became large flakes. Soon, however, it would alternate between large fluffy flakes to a very fine powder floating on the breeze.
